Prior to year 2005, the principals of HNN focused on the development and construction of multifamily real estate assets. We allocated our skills and resources to act as the developer and general contractor for a portfolio of properties which grew to exceed 2,000 apartment homes. Our developments were managed on a day-to-day basis by several third-party property management companies.

We felt that our real estate assets were not being managed according to our specified investment goals. Mediocrity is never acceptable. Performance matters. We established a clear philosophy for our investment organization and enhanced our management team with a regulatory compliance staff, a financial controller, a technology team, and corporate support staff. Today, we manage all aspects of our developments as well as the investment interests of select institutions and private investors that we have chosen to work with.
